I have a couple of the VX5500 phones, how do you set "my sounds" to be a ringtone? I've had people bluetooth me ringtones (mp3's) but they always go into the "my sounds" area, and there is no option to make them ringtones. How would you get bluetoothed ringtones to go into the "ringtone" setting?

Any help would be appreciated as I hate having the same sounds as a lot of other people.

Send the sound through a MMS message to yourself and when you recieve it it will ask you if you want to save it as a ringtone.

did your phone have a memory card inspect your phone because i think it is the reason why you have an error

when you choose a ringtone you will go to the tone settings right? when your choosing one don't choose directly to ringtones i think therea an option that will take you to the gallery wherein you will be able to choose the ringtone that your friends had send you
