I just got my Rumor2 about four days ago and have figured out how to customize everything except the wallpaper. I have have a number of images uploaded to a site that resizes them for you to the correct screen size, but..when I download them to my phone they come up as a little tiny image in the middle of the screen with a black border around it, even worse when I slide the keyboard open as it scrunches the image even more in the center . I would like to have it the full size screen like the Preloaded images.

I have tried different sizes,formats and even horizontal images.All come up as a small image in the middle of the screen with the black border around it UNLESS they are taken as a photo by the camera then they fit to screen.

Now I don't have a memory card yet, but I plan on getting one. Will I be able to upload my pictures to the microSD card and have them FULL SCREEN on my phone?..or am I stuck with the preloaded 7 that I was given

You should be able to get them to format correctly to the size of the screen. I think that the resolution that your pictures were taken at is to high. You should be able to resize it with your computer.

I have tried to resize them on my computer with a art program down to the exact screen size of 240x320 and they still come up as a small image in the middle of the screen with a black border all around it. Yet when I take a photo with the camera of anything and set it as my wallpaper it shows up full screen.

I have tried PNG, BMP,JPG and GIF format...all seem to come out the same. Maybe I need to try the SD Card I got and see if that works....

Maybe my phone is just defective

you should delete the other program that occupies a high resolution, so you can widely post a picture to your computer,if your phone is defective why dont you try to check it by a specialist, so you can know your problem on it
