Has anyone found a way to get custom ring tones to work on this phone? Any info would help, looked this up for the past days, nothing has worked!

Sprint blocks their handsets from making any custom ringtones from MP3 format. You can create your own through another program and send as a sound message to your handset or buy the music tone through the Sprint Music store as well as any of the million pay and free ringtone sites online.

I would like to know this as well. How do you send a sound message to your phone? I assume it counts as data (and so you would want a data plan)? Also, the Rumor 2 is carried by Virgin Mobile as well.

oh you need to use a card reader or buy a usb and port it to your phone by connecting to yor pc

Try Audacity well I had dropped by in one of the forum threads in this forum and one of the members hadd shared this site wherein you can use your own audio to be your ringtone all you have to do is download the song on their site then you can instantly save it to your phone
