Hi everyone,

I've had this phone for a few days but cannot get a wallpaper that looks any good when applied as a home screen. When viewing the pictures they look great (sharp, detailed etc) but once applied they somehow loose there definition and become a little blocky. I've tried 345x800 resolution pictures that i've found on the internet and even tried resizing larger resolution images to 345x800 using the phones resizing feature but both turn out exactly the same.

Anybody out there know why?

Thanks

It sounds like the phone is not understanding the format properly.... Try 400x800 to see if that works.

Thanks for your reply but 400x800 doesn't work either, still pixelates when applied as a wallpaper. It even happens with the handsets pre-installed wallpapers. It must only be a problem with the homescreen because all pictures look great when viewing them as normal, even zooming in on a picture doesn't pixelate it.

Anything else I can try?

Thanks

This site is mainly for phones released from US Carriers and the BL40 was never released in the US. So I don't have a lot of information on it... But I know the display has an aspect ration of 21:9 which might be why you are having problems finding wall paper that fits and looks good. If you can find any wall paper that fits those proportions it will probably help.
