which format and how long are your ringtones? They need to be under 30 seconds for sure. |

Well LG Product Pro...You are wrong bluetoothing these ringtones and trying to make them ringtones are a waste of your time. You cannot make the mp3 ringtones your ringtone unless it is ina drm file protected format. yes mp3 but it is protected my drm. blue tooth on the phone does not support drm transfer. i have tried doing that by making my own but no luck. yes you can transfer mp3 files but you can only play them. the phone only recognizes drm protected mp3 files as ringtones which you can only BUY and have downloaded to the phone. It sucks yes i know but.. on cheap phones like the LG AX 300 they have stuff block barricaded and nailed shut to keep ppl like us from stealing music and using it for our own personal use like ringtones. the first step umong many. my suggestion buy a phone that supports mp3 ringtone. like the lg env touch or somewhere along the lines of that. sorry everyone |

Alltel does this on purpose so you have to buy ringtones from them. There is currently no fix for this at least until bitpim gets ax300 support. The AX 300 doesn't have the capability to play video, period. I don't know why you can't send photo messages, possibly a plan issue? I also have an AX 300 and am bloody irritated I can't use the ringtone I made. There has been some precidence that Alltel will refund any money you can prove you spent on ringtones for their phone that you can't transfer in. |
