I have a LG Xenon GR500 that I have had for just over a year and yesterday I lost audio capability.  I can send and receive text messages OK.  I can receive call as the phone will ring, but I talk no one can hear me and I cannot hear the caller.  I have a very strong signal.. I am a gentle user and have not abused or dropped the phone, this just suddenly happened.  Can this problem be repaired or do I have to trash the phone,  It is a shame as I really like the Xenon.

Ouch, I'm really sorry to hear about the Audio issues...  The First thing I would try would be a soft reset.  We can do this by pulling the battery out of the phone WHILE it is on, NOT Charging, but running on battery power.  Pulling the Battery will reset the phone causing it forget all of the "Temporary" settings.  This won't effect your data, it just forces the phone to reload it's internal settings from the Network, like which Tower it's attached to and so on.  I have seen this clear up some odd behaviors in the past.

If that doesn't help, then I think the next step is to contact LG Support at: (800) 793-8896 and see what they can do to assist you.

Let me know how it turns out.
