Could some one please help me figure out how to use my phone as a modem and how to sync it with already exsisting songs on my windows media player. i have dont alot of searching, and i have downloaded drivers that dont work. my computer says they have been sucessfully installed, but i see no changes. my computer does charge my phone with the cord... but it did that before. and when i plug up the phone to the computer... i dodnt get that little icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on the tool bar that says found new hardware and helps you figure out what you can do with it. does that make sense? the same thing that pops up when up plug up an mp3 player or something. so i also cant safely stop the phone when i unplug it from the computer. can someone please help? i know it is possible to sync this phone and use it as a modem........... getting frustrated...... id never go with the iphone because i work for att and i hear people complain about them all day... but this frustration with the phone is causing me to consider switching from verizon to att.... and going back to my old att motorla razor and saying screw technology! |

Initially it sounds like you have a conflict with another USB Device. I have had this happen to me. As a troubleshooting step, unplug any other device like Ipod or USB mass Torage devices... Just for a test. Install the driver I have given you a link to (Below) and then plug in your Versa. You're right you should see messages in the lower right side of your screen telling you a "New Device" has been detected and the software installed for it. With your Versa plugged in |
