Needed a couple screenshots from my Ally for a presentation. Thought it was going to be simple. I mean, on my iPod touch, just touch two buttons and that's it.



Well, excuse me if you all already know this, but here's how to grab .png screenshots on an Ally without getting too intimate with the Ally.

Java on your system. SDK, too. Run one tool from the SDK. And you're set. 480 x 800 .png files are the default.



I just performed this on my 17" MacBook Pro - and the results are great. I think I should suggest to remember to turn OFF USB Testing Mode when you are through.
