I've had the Voyager for three weeks and there isone thing that I don't like about it.

The touch screen locks too quickly when I am on the phone. I place many calls where I have to listen to the recorded message asking me to press a certain key so I can be directed to the correct department or person. It is an inconvenience to press the CLEAR key and then the TOUCH TO UNLOCK key to continue with the phone call. Please make the LOCK delay timer longer to avoid this inconvenience.

The rest of the features and set-up is great. I love the key pad allowing me to text faster. It feels like a computer keyboard. It was a smooth transition learning how to operate the keypad.

If it helps at all, you can shut the auto lock off completely

Menu > Settings & Tools > Touch Settings > Auto Lock

I am having the same problem as Will but with a different model - the LGP350.

The touch screen locks too quickly (and goes blank) when I am on the phone or trying to access email.  Like Will  I place many calls where I have to listen to the recorded message asking me to press a certain key so I can be directed to the correct department.  The screen locks every couple of seconds and the call often ends before I can get it unlocked.

The solution you propose for Will isn't available on my phone.  I have this string - Settings - Display - Screen Timeout - which I have set for 30 minutes.  Nothing else that allows me to turn off the lock - not that I can find anyway.  It's driving me mad to spend all the time unlocking. 

Please tell me the solution.
