Sorry this is a long read, but if you like your EnV3 as much as I do? I had to find a solution.
I'm really crazy about my EnV3. I store photos, event videos, and notes all the time. I use the calendar and stopwatch etc... but the "holster dialing" or "belly dialing" which ever you choose to call it is annoying. While working I would bend over and begin hearing "Please say a command!" repeatedly until I could pause from my task to unlock it to "end" the request. And sometimes I would find it off. I put up with it for all the features I was getting from the phone.
But the problem had to be fixed when I got a hearing aid with a blue-tooth streamer. I could hear an indication every time I unlocked the phone; it was driving me crazy. I carved out a recessed circle inside the case logic holster to no avail. I decided to add a couple of pieces of leather to the display and lower keypad area. At first the idea seemed impossible. How could I mount them securely? Stitching around the edge of the leather would be impossible. Then I realized that I only had to secure the top edge to keep them in place. Here are a couple of photo's.

Since the modification I haven't had ONE incident of belly dialing. I did find the phone off three time in one day, but now I knew it was an issue with the phone. I went to the Verizon Wireless store and gave them the background upon which they replaced the phone in two days. The new phone hasn't gone off or belly dialed ONCE since (four days). I know it isn't fixing the real problem but it stops the annoyance. I would think a shoe repair shop could do this for a modest price for those who don't wish to. And you'd get a better looking job I'm sure. Maybe Case Logic will make an EnV case.

Still working great! " The new phone hasn't gone off or belly dialed ONCE since." still holds true. You can see the dates then and now.

Forgot to mention that I didn't activate the "double press unlock" on the new phone. It's nice not having to bother with that also.
