I have had a LG Lotus Elite phone for 3 months. A month or so after getting it I noticed that the sound quality was deteriorating. It would often sound like I was listening through a tin can. I would frequently have to ask my wife to repeat what she was saying or call me on a land line. I contacted Sprint and they told me to take the phone to a Service Center. The girl at the service center took my phone, asked me for my number, called the phone and said "test", without even putting her ear to the phone, handed it back to me and said "it sounds fine to me, why don't you bring it back when it is actually broken."

Obviously this was a bad experience. So I took my phone and left the store. Emailed Sprint customer service again and they told me to just go find a different service center (the next one is 50 miles away). They also asked me for the reps employee id number (like she wrote it down and handed it to me).

I ordered phones for my entire family online (all LG), and really think Sprint should just replace the dang phone and apologize for being so rude. That is definitely not going to happen. I hope this posts helps someone steer clear of this phone and this company.

Disappointing... have you contacted LG Support? You have a 1 Year Manufacturers Warranty on the Lotus Elite... Contact them at

Let me know what happens.
