I need to know about this phone; and y id chose it over a voyager.

Texting: the texting looks cool on the dare but how would u rate it? 1-10 .1 being stupid, 10 being amazing

Also how would u rate this phone overall?

Thank you

I have a Voyager (since November) and a Dare (since Thursday).

  • The Voyager has been reliable, with no problems during that time.Having only had the Dare a few days, I cannot rate that aspect.
  • The Voyager has the best keyboard for typing of any phone I have had. The Dare seems to work well for me too so far, but I am not sure how the on screen keyboad would work for someone with larger fingers and short fingernails (I tend to peck with my nails).
  • I prefer the menus on the Dare to those on the Voyager - they are more user friendly in my book, and more customizable.
  • I find that the Dare is more pocketable than the Voyager - the Voyager is just too long for that
  • The Dare has a higher resolution camera than the Voyager
  • With the Voyager, I found I would frequently accidentally hit the END key on the outside - that is a non-issue with the Dare
  • Having not had the Dare long, I cannot speak for battery life comparison
  • I intend to keep both phones provided the Dare proves as reliable as th Voyager has been, but the Dare at this point is my favorite of the two - it really has the "cool" factor
  • As an FYI, the Dare replaced a Glyde which was horrible quality and had a host of poblems, worsening over a three week period before I finally returned it. I don't know if it was a lemon or they are all like that, but it was bad enough thatI never want to see one again

Hope that helps.

The good: The LG Voyager VX10000 has a cutting-edge design with a brilliant touch screen and a spacious keyboard. It offers a generous features set that includes EV-DO support, V Cast Mobile TV Bluetooth, a top-notch Web browser, and an integrated GPS application. And if that's not enough, its call quality was excellent.

The bad: The LG Voyager VX10000's camera lacks such extra options as a flash and Wi-Fi. The touch screen can be clunky at times, and the streaming video quality and EV-DO connection speed were uneven.
