I recently (last week) started a new 2 year contract and received a new LG Accolade phone. I have had phones for probably 16 years. In less than 6 days the screen on the front of the phone went blank with a strange design. The cellular company said apparently the phone suffered a pressure or stress blow to the face, I wear the phone in a holster on my hip and am not aware of having run into anything out of the normal. The phone is still working fine just no cover face screen. Is this fixable without replacing the entire phone at my cost. The last LG phone I had was years ago and it worked fine. This one only lasted 6 days. |

Wow, disappointing... I guess I would have to disagree about pressure on the front screen, it would have to be a heck of a hit especailly since it's in a case. All phones sold through US carriers carry a One Year Manufacturers Warranty, so Yes you can get it looked at. Most Verizon Corporate stores would just replace the phone for you if it is within the first 30 days... So now you can either go through Verizon support or LG's support. I believe you can reach Verizon support at #611 from your Accolade ((800) 922-0204) or LG can be reached at: (800) 793-8896 Let me know what happens |
