I have been playing around with my VX8560 ( Chocolate 3 ) using both LGNPST & Bitpim.
First off I have succeeded in upgrading from VX856V04 to VX856V07 with no noticeable changes, then got access to the web by changing to pageplus WAP settings, every thing went fine until I decided to refurbish and then every thing went wrong the PRL/ERI were gone afterward. anyways I could manage to fix my phone and it is working but two functions are unavailable MMS and internet
MMS access is set to off in the ##lgservicemenu I cant turn it on MMSC SERVER URL is blank and so MMSC Post URL.
now I need some help resetting my MMS and web parameters and thanx in advance
I'm glad you're at least patially running, but as far as changing the settings in Service Menu, I don't have the specific settings for WAP and MMS here, for your phone... I think your best bet is to Try the automated meathod which is to dial *228 and then Opion #1... If not I beleive that Verizon Customer Service can "Push" them to your phone.
