* Make sure the MicroSD card is in the phone. * Next plug the USB cable into your PC and Phone. - If you are prompted to load the LG USB drivers, you can download them from here: http://www.lgcommunity.com/file_library.aspx * On your Phone, go to the main Menu Next Go to "PC Connection" and select Mass Storage Mode. * Your microSD card should show up on your PC as another Drive. * Open the new drive and there should be a folder named 'Media' inside this folder is the 'Music' folder. * Copy your Ringtones to this folder and then dismount your phone from the PC. * On the Phone from the main menu go to Settings then Sounds and choose the Ringers or Alerts that you want to set and press Okay Select All Calls (Or whatever you want to set) Then select My Sounds and your ringtones should show up. You might be prompted to copy the Ringtone to the phone memory go ahead and copy it and then you can set it as a ringtone. Good Luck. |

Where are you looking? Are "Ringtones" .MP3 files? Are they Ringtones or whole Songs you are trying to set? How did you get them to your Phone? If you copied them to your MicroSD card and put them in the Music folder, on the Card (they should be in the "Media folder then the Music Folder.") If They are in the Music folder they should show up... Go to Settings>> Sound>> Ringers>> All Calls>> My Sounds... They should show up as being available to set as Ringtones. Possible cause for them to not show up: * Not actually MP3 Format * Ringtones are too long. I think they need to be less than 30 sec. OR * They are not in the correct folder on the MicroSD Card What is happening when you try to set them? |
