I ordered my Rumor 2 from Virgin Mobile and it came in the mail yesterday. Last night I started it on it's initial charge and it was working fine. Then, I wanted to play with it some so I started inputting my contacts while it was on the charger. I pretty much fell in love with it right then - and I hadn't even begun the process of activation yet. Then I moved phone and charger to a different room and outlet, and that's when the problems started. First it said the battery had to be in the phone for it to charge - which it was. Then it wouldn't charge at all. I took the battery out and put it back in and then charged it, and that helped for a while, but then it would just randomly shut off and not do anything. It also randomly turned on like twice for no reason. Then, all of a sudden, it just stopped working. Period. It wouldn't turn on with the charger plugged in, it wouldn't turn on without the charger, nothing. I thought if I left it plugged in overnight that it might work this morning......... But no. Still nothing. I've sent an e-mail to Virgin Mobile asking for advice, but I'm just really frustrated because it's BRAND NEW and I was just wondering if anyone could help me??? |

This is unfortunate... At this point I'd make arrangements to return the phone to Virgin Mobile... I can't think of anything you can do to resolve the issues you are seeing. You could also call LG Support to see what they can do to assist you. (800) 793-8896 |
