I can put my photos on my rumors2 and use them as wall papers or screen savers but i can't get my mp3 files to work as ring tones. i can get them on the phone but can only play them.

bitpim will not work for this phone it finds it as other but when i go to open the file system it doesn't work and data pilot only does the phone book and images.

Can anyone help me get my mp3 file to work as ring tones on this phone

Sprint blocks their handsets from making any custom ringtones from MP3 format. You can create your own through another program and send as a sound message to your handset. Send the reduced size MP3 file to the My_Sounds folder on the phone and then send that sound to yourself via MMS and use the save as a ringtone option, or send the ringtone via email to your phone which would be phonenumber@vzwpix.comor buy the music tone through the Sprint Music store as and free ringtone sites online
