i just purchased my lg ally 2 days ago and i downloaded the app ringdroid since then my txt msgs will not sound it just vibrates twice then the led flashes...i have to keep rebooting the phone and then after about half an hour it does it again even after i deleted the ringdroid app...its frustraing is this a software issue?

I'm seeing reports of this and I haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet. But one of the Theories is that the Add On sound Apps like HandCent, DG Alerts, and possibly RingDroid, might be conflicting.

If you wouldn't mind could you temporarily uninstall Ringdroid and reboot to see if the problem goes away... That would be very helpful

The samething has also happened to my wife. She is now on her second ally with out any type of notification addons. I know she is very frustrated having to either do a battery pull when shutting down and powering back up does not work. This has to be done several times a day.
