My wife and I both have a CU920. A few days ago she told me that her phone was shutting down and could not be turned back on unless the battery was removed and replaced. She also said that the orange tv logo was showing at the top of the screen. After trying all I could think of to fix the problem I decided to try and re-create the problem on my phone which was working fine, with the idea that by finding the cause I could reverse it. |

I agree, I'm not sure what oulling the Micro SD card would have to do with the Mobile TV app. But in the off chance, have you tried pulling your Memory card to see if by some chance it works? It sounds like you have been very thorough in trouble shooting Your Devices... Questions that I have are: |

The Mobile TV service is really spotty in this area and I've Been told it's in testing, but yes it does come up and work, but we are not subscribed. |

I'm glad you're getting new phones! At least these will have the latest Firmware so if there is an issue, hopefully, this will address it! |

well at least you had solved your problem, one must look out for several applications for sometimes these applications can damage gadgets software's or worse |

DEJA- VU, (Feb 5th 2010)I've got your phone. I purchased it December 18th 2009. It didn't come with a sd mini so I purchased that a couple of days later.. I spoke with customer support today because somehow Mobile TV was accessed but not activated and the female rep from ATT said that no data was being used and had me try several times to go to subscribe manager and push no, "are you sure" I pushed yes, yes again and then exited the application rebooted the phone and it was gone for per say the phone would go black. I would unlock it again and before the 1 minute for shutdown was to happen again the orange TV icon (just right of the bar graph)reappeared at the top. A half an hour later of inactivity and the phone was locked/frozen. I removed the battery and reinstalled it after 30+ seconds and the phone would come back to life (minus the icon for a few) and something you said clicked here?? battery compartment lid had a slight raise in temperature and a fully charged battery by this time was down one bar. (It was draining, it had to be draining in the dormant state. I thought it was in.. The PRO responder to this original question, have you heard any new input as I will be calling ATT again tomorrow with this posting. Unfortunatily with ATT you have to be patient because customer support gets there first crack at diagnosing the problem before they put you through to technical support which I pray will be the same outcome as sending me a new phone. Best Buy where I purchased it from wouldn't touch the issue because I was over 30 day out their door. Told me to call ATT, it wasn't their problem. thanks for hearing me out, Michael D |

be careful with those phones they are known to have some issues ,it was a wise move to call at&t,the customer service folks at lg can be very difficult when it comes time to stand buy there products, usually at&t has a little more pull.good luck with those phones but be careful with them. |

they decided to replace it, they said they werent aware of any problems with that 920vu, warrenty dicided to eat the shipping and it should be here tomorrow. i have fingers crossed now that it doesn't happen again. something that warranty did ask at at&t was under the battery punched through the casting if the color was white, green, red, or orange? my was white and she wanted to make sure it was white as i had a magnifying glass looking at it. i told her yes and she replied as if it was a 1st generation 920vu. i'm looking forward to see what color is to be delivered tomorrow. i'll print something back if the color changed from the white dot that i will be sending back to them. thanx, mike |
