Hi all,
I just got a new Touch, and I love it!
My question is about the battery. Is it a "smart" battery, meaning that it does not develop memory if you charge it before it is completely discharged? I tend to think that the newer phones probably are, but before I recharge, I'd like to know. My last phone gradually decreased its battery life, and I frequently put it on the charger before it was all the way down. I really want to take good care of this phone, so help me out, will ya?

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations on picking up the Rumor Touch, I love the phone.

The battery on the Touch is using the latest technology so there aren't any of the memory problems that were found in the old rechargeable batteries. I would recommend putting a FULL charge on the battery initially, just to get it off to a good start.

All batteries have a "Life Span" and at some point in time after many many charges could start to loose strength... But you shouldn't worry about this for a long time.

Enjoy the Phone!
