I just got the LG lotus and the backlight dims after around 30 seconds and than turns off shortly after EVEN while charging. I dont care that it does that while not charging, and I know i can change a setting to make it stay always on but than it will stay on even when its not charging. I think its pretty ridiculous the screen dims when watching a youtube video and i have to hit a button to brighten it back up!!!

The Lotus backlight will stay on if you go into the display settings and set it. After you change to always on, you need to press yes when it confirms high battery consumption. Im watching a movie on mine as I type No problem.
