So Android Market is not installed on the GW620? You can download the "APK on your PC and then manually install it on your phone.

Or

Are you referring to the fact that when you are in Android Market, on your GW620, applications aren't showing up for download? If this is the case then Android Market is not recognizing your phone and or Version of software as being Valid. I can see what I can do, but you might have success requesting the phone be added at the following link.

**** I don't have a GW620 to test and normally do not support International Phones, So I am trying to help you in the Blind ******

The Update utility??? Who is your carrier? Normally the updates for Android, are distributed OTA (Over the Air) Is your Carrier not doing this for you?

For me, the update utility has been Finicky at best and seems to be worse with Win7. On my Win XP machine, this is what I do.

* Unplug the Phone I want to update

* Download and install the latest update utility and run it.

* When the utility is running I then plug my phone in and the utility should recognize it.

* If the phone isn't recognized, you might need to put the Phone into "Debugging" Mode

Be very cautious in doing this because you can cause problems for the phone... If you are unsure I would contact your Carrier or LG Support for your region.
