I wanted to report that the LG email is broken. After filling out the email form and pressing the submit button, the page shows the following:
We're sorry. The page you requested does not exist

The page you requested is not available. If you're still having problems finding a destination on our site, please go to our home page or view our site map.

Below is the contents of what I wrote and would like answered:

I have the GR700. I have some problems I need help with:
1) Lagging between clicking programs, such as: loading songs, games, or applications.

2) The touch-screen quit responding once already; power cycling fixed the issue, but would like it to not have that issue anymore.

3) [ I set a fake internet setting to avoid data charges as well as set each game/application to never connect. With that in mind, I don't want the programs that connect to the internet listed on the menus. ] I would like these programs removed from the screen: Shortcut > My Account; Menu > Phone icon > YPMobile / AT&T GPS / Mobile Email; & Menu > Entertainment > tv / Mobile Video / Mobile Web / App Center / AT&T Music. I know that pressing the items won't charge data fees, but accidentally hitting them is a pain; I would like to remove them or even reassign where the icon points.

4) Ability to add/delete widgets to the widget bar; if already possible now, then how?

5) Ability to create personal themes.

Thanks for reporting the broken link, I've reported to the Web people responsible for that site..

1) How many Songs and or Games do you have on the phone? The more files you get on the MicroSD could cause the phone to lag a little... Ths only thing you can do is to remove some files from the phone... There isn't an optimization utility to speed up file operations... But I have reported your issues to development.

2) If the screen keeps failing to respond to touch I'd recommend that you get a hold of AT&T or LG Support, they can take care of it for you. LG Support - (800) 793-8896

3) I understand your need to avoid any network charges but I'm wondering if the Bogus network information is causing delays since it's might need some network communication, just a guess. All the apps that are on the Applications page are coded into the phone. There isn't a way for a user to remove them unless they Hack the phone... I'm sorry for the inconvenience they might be causing.

4) I don't see a way to add icons to the Widgets Tray, I don't think it's possible.

5) LG doesn't have any consumer tools for creating Themes, but you should be able to find some tools on the net that will help with themes

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

1) The phone was slow to load before I even put a memory card into it; I got the Vu Plus as a replacement for the Samsung Impression under 2 months ago so I don't think AT&T would replace it.

2) LG phone support isn't too friendly; at least the woman that I talked to yesterday wasn't.

3) I've done the bogus network on other devices, it doesn't slow it down at all. The only thing that normally happens is the data times out and says unable to connect.

4) I couldn't find a way to do this either, that's why I asked for a fix for that issue.

5) Same as #4.

I've used this device for about 3 weeks now, and it blows the Samsung Impression out of the water! If it had a longer-life battery and Wi-Fi (and still not be considered a Smartphone) it would be my #1 dream device!

1: Sorry for the sluggish performance, I will report your experiences....
2: I'm sorry about support not treating you well. Do you remember who you talked with? I'll report this to support.
3: Okay, just thinking we might be running into some 'timeout' issues but it sounds like you are okay
4: Good Suggestion on the Widgets, I'll pass that on as well. I'd like to see it more customizable.
5: Have you tried Zedge.com or Phonezoo.com ... I'm sorry LG doesn't have any tools for creation or modification of themes, but there should be something on the Web that will work.

Sorry for not having more helpful answers but I will pass your comments on.

1) Oddly enough, after I talked about this issue, the phone improved in speed 75% faster (without the loading screen appearing). The same contents of the music and games folder opened much quicker than previously, although the actual program opens slightly slower. Was it a possible over-the-air firmware/software fix?

2) No, all I could say is she was a woman (about age 40-50), with an unsympathetic matter-of-fact voice.

3) I've used this method before to work around using data on three other devices: HTC 8525, LG Neon, & the Samsung Impression.

4) Same scenario with Samsung -- they don't want users to add widgets; I would like widgets being user customizable as well.

5) The users at lg-vu.com seem good at finding ways to customize the original Vu (Vu-1 as I call it), but the Vu Plus doesn't respond to the codes they used.

Today, I attempted to install the NEScube jar with every game I wanted to play, but the file was too big. I then broke up the jar into 4 parts, but the system considers them the same program and just overwrites it. I can't figure out a way to edit the name or how to let the Vu Plus see it as a different program.

I have the LG VU plus and I love it except the memory there really is none. But my problem is with the memory card I have had two different memory cards and then ATT gave me another phone and still the same problem. When I go to see my pictures it says file doesn't excist and the songs don't play; I have to take out the memory card and then put it back in and it is fine but it keeps doing this all day long. Cann't find any answers and no help.
