Ever since having my software updated to the newest (VX11KV09 and Polaris7 browser) version, if I am doing a lot of stuff within my internet browser, the phone will just reboot. If I am reading through forums or going through pictures on facebook, it will just go black and the Verizon Wireless boot screen will come up.

I already sent a message to Customer Service and I got the standard "You can send it in and we will take a look at it for you. It has a 1 year warranty blah blah blah." Whatever. This phone is less than a year old. It is also my second phone since the first one had the front screen go all funky while in my coat pocket.

Anybody else have this problem?

Welcome to the crowd. Any time I use the browser, then a bit later, in some other operation or doing nothing at all it will either:
1) reboot
2) if you are really lucky, not reboot --- just go dead and you have to pull the battery to get it to boot up again.

I reported this problem here weeks ago ... zero.
But the good news is ... since I have YET ... to successfully enter a URL into the browser and go to the URL ... I really don't user the browser, thus the rebooting has been cut way down. The original browser was bad, but this Polaris browser is awful ... unless I'm really missing something.

One more tip: Tech support is a dead end. Your ONLY hope is this issue will be fixed in the next release, if there is one. But, being 1 year old now, not sure that's going to happen. I asked the local store if I could revert back to 07 firmware, but he said only LG could do that by sending it in.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't really have a problem any other time. Sometimes it will reboot randomly. It used to do it a ton on my phone and my wifes until we got the update. Now it just seems to do it if I use the browser heavily. I figured there wouldn't be a fix but it is kinda annoying when you are reading something important or interesting and then, BAM, black screen.

And I don't have any problems entering a URL and going there. Everything else works fine.
