Recently my Accolade has been acting funny ( I've had it about a month ).

A couple of weeks ago, when I pressed the Voice Command Key (just under the Master Volume Key) the Sound Recorder start window appeared.
This went on for about a week and then the Voice Command window returned.
Last weekend the Sound Recorder start window showed up again for a couple of days and now the Voice Command window is back.

What the heck is going on?

I don't know, I haven't seen this one before.... What I would do is to reset the phone... You can reset the phone by taking the battery while the phone is turned ON. Leave the battery out for about a minute, and then replace it and power the phone back on. A lot of time this procedure will cure little oddities that a phone is exhibiting.

Let me know if this helps

I don't know why I am surprised because this happens all of the time, but I seem to have solved the question.

About an hour after I posted this question I discovered what appears to be an undocumented feature of this phone that accounts for what I am seeing.

With the flip open, I briefly press the Voice Command key and the phone goes into the Voice Command mode and displays the V.C. menu.

However, if I press the Voice Command key and hold it down for about 2 seconds the phone goes to the Start Recording mode!

I've looked at all of the manuals and I don't see anything about this.
I wonder if there are any other multi-function...ur...functions?

Would you know of any or any documentation?

Thanks for pointing that out!! I completely forgot about the Press and Hold feature, The enV Touch and enV3 do the same thing!! I'm glad to see it's on the Accolade as well

Thanks again!
