I have bought a lg fathom given the cousin in the Vietnam. when he turned up the source of what is a bulletin board: Activate Phone - Press 'Send' to activate your phone. Press the send button when he was not sent. I think because he was live in Vietnam. So how are Vietnam activate the phone?

and when he put the sim in Vietnam is over: invail simcard. would I do?

Good Question, I have not seen a Fathom activated on a NON Verizon network internationally... I'm not sure that the Fathom will work in Vietnam... It's setup to run on the Verizon network for CDMA but can be provisioned to run on international GSM networks when CDMA is not available... Do you know what carrier Cousin is using, and what Technology they support, like GSM verses CDMA? Is Verizon an option in Vietnam yet? Does he have a local dealer that can help him activate the phone? Have you talked to the Dealer you got the Fathom from here in the States? Can they help with International Activation?

I don't have any other answers other than to check with Verizon support for help.

The Electronic Serial Number (MEID) can be accessed under Setting>> System>> System Info ... Look on the Phone Info Tab. It should be the first line of information.
