Ran across this post and thought it would be some good info for those who have been wanting Custom ROMs for Ally.

(Disclaimer for Pro's sake: If and when they make a custom ROM for the Ally, Loading it will void your warrenty and is NOT supported by Lg. Also because of how the Ally's bootloader works this is VERY advanced stuff. That should about cover it, right Pro....)

Update. There at least 3 custom ROMs available for the Ally and a couple themes as well. After playing with a few ROMs on my Droid I can say that ROM Manager and Clockwork Recovery are a must have after you Root. They make is soooo very simple to load ROMs. I fnayone does get interested in this you can go to androidforums.com -> Lg Ally-> All Things Root and all the stuff you need including a TON of reading materials is there.

It's a good site for those who choose to Root devices, lots of good info up there... Just be careful Rooting can cause problems and probably void your warranty
