Sorry for the delay, I'm trying to get information. What I know at this point is that they are aware of the issue and they are working on a new update. I don't have a time frame or a shopping list of what is being addressed. Hopefully it will be soon.. |

Good suggestion! I've actually used that on our Android Phone and it seems to work well. |

Nothing to really mention at this point.... Last I heard we had something in Testing. But you know how that goes... I'll let you know if I hear anything. |

Checking to see if there is any update from LG on this. I've used up my 30-day trial of Touchdown and have switched to the manual sync mode. If a patch is coming soon I won't spend the money but I will if it is going to be a few months. |

It's disapointing to say, but I don't have an update time frame yet... I know there will be an LG Update which should address these issues followed by the Android 2.2 OS update. I know it's being worked on. I'm in the same boat. I have Touchdown and RoadSync and I finally opted to pay the $10.00 and picked up RoadSync... Thinking of it RoadSync has a 30 Day trial as well. You might install it and see if that will hold you over till the Update is released. |

Any updates on this? We're testing a few Allys and are about to roll it out as a corporate solution and buy a bunch of phones but I'm not going to OK that unless I can be confident that the Calendar will sync. These phones are great and a perfect, cost effective solution for small to medium sized companies but LG isn't going to get any type of market share in the corporate space if they can't support exchange. |

How soon will you be making the Decision?? I know there is an Update coming which will address the EMail issue which I think will help with the Calendar as well, but I don't have a date right now, I might be able to find more info in about a week, if you have that time. I'm pushing real hard for answers, but I don't have anything solid yet. I believe the update might have gone to testing, so that will give us a little better time frame. |

My phone just downloaded a 24.9mb update. Are you saying I need to wipe out my phone to get it to kick in completely? |

Almost all Allyupdate without an issue... However a few of them still have issues with the Corp Calendar and Email Sync. So if you do, then I suggest trying a hard reset. The reset won't erase the update you just installed. |

I can confirm that after loading the update, removing my corporate email account and adding it back in, the corporate calendar is functioning as designed. This is great!

No success here. I installed the update and tried it. Then I wiped out my account, recreated it, and tried it. Then I hard reset the phone back to factory default and created my account. My Corporate Calendar is still empty. My contacts and email have come through but not the calendar. We are running Exchange 2007. Sending this from my home computer so I don't have immediate access to see the service pack level. I work for an IT Managed Services company and we host several Exchange environments. I'll gladly speak with someone at LG regarding this to get this resolved. I guess I'll have to try RoadSync again. I liked it better than TouchDown.

I have tried the hard reset as well as deleting and recreating the accounts. While the email appears to communicate with the server during setup, when it goes to sync it just continues to "churn" without downloading anything. The corporate calendar says that it is out of sync, but like the email it just continues to churn without effect. At least before the update the email worked and the calendar sometimes worked... |

My boss left to go to India last week with an LG Ally and I couldn't get the Outlook Calander to work no matter what I did. He went over to the Verizon store and they eventually told him it was a bug and that the president of LG is really mad because it doesn't work yet. SO.................. if your president is upset about it why can't you fix it? I have an Ally also and it's great EXCEPT for the Corporate Calander not working. So what's the deal?? Are you guys going to fix this problem or not? It sort of looks like LG isn't backing their product at all, how are you supposed to gain market share with Enterprise customers if you let them down with syncing with the Outlook Calander? Thanks, Dan |
