I have one gmail account that is my main account. However, I have a second gmail account - all email that is sent to my 2nd account is forwarded to the first one. When I'm logged in on my primary account, I can receive AND SEND emails from BOTH accounts. However, I can't do this on my LG Ally. Even if the email was sent to my second account, and I simply try to reply, my LG Ally gmail app automatically replies from the primary account. This is really crucial for the work that I do, so I would like to know if there was a way to set it up so that I can send emails from both accoutns without having to switch back and forth between the accounts. I have my email forwarded to one account for a reason - what's the point if I'm going to have to switch back and forth??

My 15-day trial period ends tomorrow. My old blackberry curve could do this... If the LG Ally can't, I'll just exchange it.

I don't believe there is a way to do what you need on an Android device.  I have looked at the Ally and another brand Android device I have in a Lab here, and I can't see away to accomplish this.

I'm sorry to loose you as an Ally user.  Please let me know if there is anything I can help with in the future.

Before you give up, check out an app called K9. It may do what you're looking for. I used it for a time and really liked it, but it's a relatively large program and I decided to use the space for other apps.
