Hello,
I have a Chocolate Touch VX857V05, when I check for software updates on the phone, it responds no new update. When I downloaded B2ACApplication.exe (or something along those lines) and installed the driver, it responds the same about the phone having the latest version and no updates available.
A friend recently got the same phone, and her's has VX857V06 as the software version, so I know that I don't have the latest.
So whats the deal here? How come I can't get the phone to update?

Unfortunately, OTA (Over the Air) updates aren't available for the for the Choc Touch. That's why it tells you no updates available.... The other bad news is that the LG Update tool is a work in progress and I've noticed it not working on the Choc Touch as well. Right now your only option is to take the phone into a Corp Verizon Store to get it updated.
