oasis1371 Member                 0 Join Date: Jul 2010 Reputation: 0 Posts: 6	My fiance' was just updated to verison 8 and now everytime she trys to use Facebook on her Ally an "failed authorization" memo comes up and she has to type in her password. Tried redownloading the facebook app and that seemed to work for a minute but then right back to sending that message to her phone. My facebook has been working fine since I have gotten the update so don't know whats going on with her phone.

BFid Member                 0 Join Date: Jul 2010 Reputation: 0 Posts: 2	I haven't had problems with it signing me on, but i never get Facebook notifications on my Ally. I think i might have gotten one before the update, but i've only had the phone for a week...anyone else have this problem?

How about trying the Socialite App and adding her Facebook account to it to see if that works.. Let me know what happens

I have had good luck with Facebook, lately.... HOWEVER, there is an Update for the Ally and Android 2.1 that is releasing today and will be pushed to all Allys by next Friday that addresses, amoung other things, issues with Facebook... So I would hang on until you get the update and then let me know if it addresses what you are seeing.... The Update is Automatic, you will probably see a message, on your Ally, that tells you there is an update available and ask you if you want to update. Choose yes and it will apply the update. Let me know how this works out.
