I bought a Chocolate Touch from a local WalMart on December 19, 2009. I was due a Verizon upgrade and wanted the Touch but Verizon was backordered. I have loved the phone until recently. I have an area on the touch screen that looks like liquid under the surface. The phone has not been exposed to water and the indicator shows white with the red x's. The area on the touch screen appears black when the screen is black and looks normal when the screen is lit up. The most troubling thing is that the area does not respond to touch and appears to be growing. I am already about to lose complete use of one key when I am texting. I need to know what to do. Obviously this is an issue with the phone and WalMart says I have to contact LG since the purchase was greater than 30 days ago. Anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Did LG replace your phone? |

Ouch... The LCD Screen is leaking the LCD Fluid, which is under the touch screen. It probably looks like Ink. Your touch has a one year warranty so I think your best bet is to contact LG Support and see what they can do to help you. (800) 793-8896. Or possibly Verison's Phone support at #611 From your Cell phone. |

I had that same issue with my old LG Dare. Fortunately Verizon replaced it for me. But I never had it quit responding to my touch. I could just see the liquid. And on mine this liquid filled most of the screen area. |
