We cannot change the ringtone on our new VX5600. We go to the selection screen and select the one we want and select OK. But, when a call comes in all we get is a beep for the ring. Any suggestions?

i have the same problem. they said to check back in 3 weeks. lg is working on a fix. will have to bring the phone in.

I was having the same problem--I finally figured it out. When my contacts were moved from my old phone to my new phone, they were all assigned a low beep ringer. I had to go into each contact and change the ringer to the one I wanted. If I received a call that was from someone other than my contacts, it would ring with the correct ringer. But anyone that was in my contact list would only ring with the low beep. After I fixed each one, they now ring correctly.
