Well I have another rumor about the next enV Touch. Instead of being called ( enV Touch 2 ) like you would think, the next enV Touch will be called the ( enV G ). Like I said before it will run Android 2.1, be a mid-range Android device, and will on many other carriers besides verizon including, Verizon, sprint, at&t, T-Mobile, and metro pcs. Sounds to me like the so called enV G will just be a addition to the "enV" series instead of acually replacing the enV Touch.

My guess is that the "G" in "enV G" would stand for "Global" since it is going to be global device and would make sence of why they would put it many carriers besides Verizon. I think we will a still see a "enV Touch 2" and "enV 4" along with the "enV G". I also forgot to say before the the "enV G" is supposed to be released sometime for the holiday season.

maybe its going to be considered a midrange device,but its come across 'skygrid' on my ipod that its going get the 1GHZ processor,and a couple speculations that it will be running 2.2 when it comes out.

despite all the negativity about the touch and ally(and my own bad experience with the ally),im excited

Or the "G" might stand for Google, if it's an Android phone as rumored. Just a thought.
