There's already a rather large thread on the 2.2 thing. For your other questions, Ally comes with Flash Lite, it is not capable of running Flash 10.1 however. LG has a S/W update on their support site. Lastly, no, you cannot upgrade your phones hardware. |

Unfortunately it's not looking like the Ally will get Android 2.2... It's not for sure but doubtful at this point. gndmepyon is correct, there is a Lite version of Flash player on the Ally right now. We are planning on an update to a new version of Firmware for the Ally running Android 2.1, it should be available shortly. I'll keep everyone posted when I hear any info on it's release. |

I just got the LG Ally a couple weeks ago. I went into it not really caring that it wasn't a "fancier" phone. But now that Im hearing things about android 2.2 i wonder if I made a mistake buying this. I had no interest in the Droid X, and I did not like the keyboard layout of the current regular Droid. So I felt my options were limited. I think the Ally has a lot of potential and I am hoping LG will work on that. Except for my phone freezing twice on me, it's really been working well and I like it much better than my Blackberry Curve I had before. |

I would also like to chime in with a vote for adding 2.2 software to the Ally. I have the Ally as my personal phone and like most things about it better than the Motorola product at half the price; but I think it would really increase the sales of the handset if we could a little new "buzz" to an already great product. |

I talked with Verizion support today about issues with my Ally not handling bluetooth well, and was told that this should be cleared up with the Android 2.2 release for Ally which will happen - she couldn't give a date, but did confirm that it will be available and would be pushed out "soon". |
