There doesn't seem to be a way to globally change all of the sound/vibrate settings. There are settings for the Phone, Notifications, and Alerts. and they can be adjusted in different places. Your probably not doing anything wrong, but check these settings. * When setting an Alarm go to settings and turn off "Alarm in Silent Mode" * Under Sound and Display besides the "Silent Mode" being turned on, make there is a check mark next to "Vibrate Phone" There are some Apps in the Android Market that try and combine and allow additional functionality to alert tones, and I am stearing away from recommending them but I would try them to see if they help or make things worse... Uninstall if they don't help. Android 2.1 seems to have some sound issues, but I'm still looking into a solution. |
