I have been having a few issues with my E-mails and need to know how or if I can resolve them. I have three e-mail accounts on my Ally and so far (2 1/2 weeks) this device keeps loading E-mails from my inbox that I have opened already on my laptop, it just loaded E-mails from April! How can I stop this? It will notify me when I get a new E-mail but just loads these other already opened E-mails with no notification. E-mails that I have deleted from my Ally show up again 1 or 2 days later. I have it set up to delete E-mails from the device and my E-mail accounts....it doesn't do this. Also some E-mails come with text only attachments and I can't open the attachment. E-mails with video or photo attachments open fine. One last thing too, Someone sends me an E-mail while I'm talking to them, it takes an hour or more to receive the e-mail. The E-mail capabilities so far are less than expected and way less than the Blackberry I had before my Ally. Otherwise I'm very happy with this device but if this is how the E-mail works I can't use it as it is. Thanks for putting up with my rambling.

Sorry about the Email stuff going on... Which Email account seems to be having problems? I know that for the GMail account under settings there is an option "Labels" which when selected gives you the option of Synchronization. Then is allows you to changed the settings for various Catagories like Inbox, Starred, sen, and Deleted Items... I had mine set to off so I'm assuming that is telling GMail on the Ally to never compare notes with the desktop version as to what to Delete.

I have seen the Ghost items come back to my Inbox before, mostly on my "Live" account but not to the extent you are seeing.

I'll look into these issues to see if I can find more answers... Some of these are hard to tell if they are LG/Verizon/ or Android. So let me look around

Thanks for the reply, my G-mail account hasn't been a problem, it's my "Live " account also and my work E-mails through the company server. My boss got his Motorola 'droid the day after I got my Ally and he is having the same issues with multiple accounts.....sounds like an Android problem? I'm going to look at what my E-mail settings are, I may have them wrong

yeah, Check you settings and let us know... I'll work on it from this end.

I checked my settings and one thing I noticed is my Live account and work account don't have a "label" setting in the account settings like the G-mail account. since I checked the setting-did not change any, I haven't had any of the continuing loading of e-mails as before! I don't know what changed or how but the e-mail is working like it should. I'll let you know if anything changes.
