My glimmer, UX 830, started having probelms big time. Before i noticed that the cursor when txting, would sometimes skip lines. well it now does that no matter what, it will take away letters, add letters, add many spaces, all on its own. If i try to go to audio, or anything else on the phone, it will seem froze and jump screens. When i try to transfer songs to my SD card, it will click some stuff without me pressing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im going to take it to the U.S. cellular store as soon as i get a chance to see if there is an update, or anything that can fix it. hopefully not sending it in to lose all the info on my phone.

Sounds like your phone has a mind of its own. I would suggest basic troubleshooting as in a hard reset. I know that your goal is not to lose your information. I think you would be in luck with getting most of your info transferred over to the new phone if they swap it for you in house. Let me know.

I have tried a hard reset many times. Nothing changed. I went to Lg chat, and talked to a rep. after 25 minutes of searching, the only thing left to try is a master reset to default. I will take it to the local store tomorrow and see if they say the same thing. Thank you

IT WAS THE SCREEN PROTECTOR!
I removed the small plastic piece and it is now fixed!
