Is ther or will there be a USB Modem Driver for UX840?

I found some for windows xp... just use the ones in the folder of windows 2k.

Now how to make it work as an internet connection... I'm still stumped on that.

Got it working, I used the same drivers. Setup Internet connection follow these steps:
Right click Internet Explorer icon on desktop
choose: Properties
choose: Connections tab
choose: Add...
choose: Dial-uo to private network
Phone number: #777
Name: LG CDMA Modem
User name: @uscc.net
Password:

I will confirm with rgallier that this works, as I just shut off my connection and am typing and sending info through the phone. I needed this this past weekend since I was out of otwn and couldn't get internet service. Oh well, ready for next time.

I jst got upgraded to 3G and haven't tested at home yet to see what speed (currently 115.2 kbps for 1x).

Full instructions to enable EVDO tethering for LG UX840 Tritan with US Cellular service

download: LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_Ver_4.5.exe

run LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_Ver_4.5.exe
plug in usb cable and let wizard install both
LGE CDMA USB Modem
LGE CDMA USB Serial Port

Goto Control Panel; System; Hardware; Device Manager; Modems; LGE CDMA USB Modem
In LGE CDMA USB Modem Properties:
Goto Modem; Set Maximum Port Speed to 115200

Goto Control Panel; System; Hardware; Device Manager; Ports; LGE CDMA USB Serial Port (COM#)
In LGE CDMA USB Serial Port(COM#) Properties:
Goto Port Settings; Set Bits per second to 128000

Goto Control Panel; Internet Options; Connections; Setup
In the New Connection Wizard:
Next; Connect to the Internet; Next; Set up my connection manually; Next; Connect using a dial-up modem; Next
In the ISP Name type LGE CDMA USB Modem
In the Phone number type; #777; Next
In the User name type; (your ten digit phone number)@uscc.net
In the Password type; (your ten digit phone number)
In the Confirm password type; (your ten digit phone number)
Check the; Use this account....
Check the (optional); Make this the default...; Next; >Finish

Goto Control Panel; Internet Options; Connections
In the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings window:
Highlight LGE CDMA USB Modem; Settings
In LGE CDMA USB Modem settings:
Check Automatically detect settings
Check Use automatic configuration script
In the Address type; Init String:AT$QCMDR=3
In Dial-up settings section hit; Properties

In LGE CDMA USB Modem Properties:
General; Configure

In Modem Configuration; Maximum speed (bps) select 921600
Check Enable hardware flow control
Check Enable modem error control
Check Enable modem compression; OK

In LGE CDMA USB Modem Properties:
General; Options
Check Display progress...
Check Prompt for name...
Check Prompt for phone number...
In the Redial attempts set to 3
In the Time between redial attempts set to 1 second
In the Idle time before hanging up set to never
Check the Predial if line is dropped; OK

In LGE CDMA USB Modem Properties; OK

In the Internet Properties; OK

Works with Bluetooth Connection also (maybe even faster). Go to LG CDMA Modem Properties and choose Configure. Then set Maximum speed (bps0 to 921600. and enable all hardware features.
