I have figured out how to get the images I put on my 8GB MicroSD Mem Card as wallpaper but I can't get the Audio Files I put on my 8GB MicroSD Mem Card to be set as RingTones.

I took my .wav files, converted them to .mp3, formated the 8GB MicroSD Mem Card on the phone, hooked the 8GB MicroSD Mem Card to my computer, moved the .mp3 files to the 8GB MicroSD Mem Card, accessed the files, but can't for the life of me get them set as ringtones.

Are they not allowing this because they want to rape you by forcing you to purchase ringtones or am I just missing the option somewhere?

I have a couple of full length songs but most of what I want to use as ringtones are Invader Zim audio clips that are between 2 seconds and 10 seconds in length.

I tried to use the Voice Record function on the phone but the audio quality is just horrible. (That is how I made custom ringtones in my old phone.)

Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

There really isn't an easy way to set your MP3s as a Ringtone... You might try sending your sounds to your phone in a Multimedia Message (MMS) and see if you can set them that way. This is a trick you can use on Sprint Phones

I'm having the same problem. I got the tones off the card onto the phone, but can't figure out how to set them as ringtones. Help please?

Ringtone audio files must be saved to the phone, not the card, in order to be used as ringtones.

Go to Multimedia, click on Audio, and then select the files you want as ringtone. Click right soft key for options, and scroll down to Move/Copy. Move from Card to Phone to enable them for use as ringtones.

Correct... I use the MicroSD card to get ringtones off of my PC to my Phone. If they are in the "Music" Folder on the card, you can access them through the sound menu, they do show up. Onece you click on one of the tones in this menu, it will prompt you to copy it to your Phones memory, and then you can set it as a ringtone.
