I have an LG Tritan ux840 phone. Can I use a 16gb micro sdhc mobile ultra class 4 card with this phone? I know I can use the standard sdhc class 2, but wanted to know if the mobile ultra class 4 would work with this phone. I'm looking to get this card as it faster than the class 2. thanks for any help. |

It sounds like the 16gb micro sdhc mobile ultra class 4 card is backwards compatible. I don't have one here for testing but I would think that it should work. However I'm not really sure if you are going to see any performance improvments. What do you use your Micro SD for? Personally I use mine for Video and I store movies at 320x480 29.97 fps, and they play just fine from my standard 8GB MicroSD cards... I would be curious to hear your feedback if you give it a try. Maybe the 16gb micro sdhc mobile ultra class 4 card will be my NEXT Toy to play with!! |

I'm assuming there would be a big improvement on the read and write aspect of it, however without doing a bench test on it I won't know comparing it to the class 2. i just wanted to know if the mobile ultra is compatible with the ux840. I think I might pull the trigger on this and buy it. $55.99 on ebay w/ a card reader or best offer. Thanks for the help |

Yeah I'm sure the card is faster, I think the Phone will be the Bottleneck... Let me know what you find! |

This is a great article... I'd like to test it in a practicle environment... Like, taking and saving pictures, Copying files to the SD Card while it's in the phone, and even the performance of Movie play back to see if there is any less frame dropping... |
