When I use downloaded animated wallpaper on the main screen of my phone there is a bright white line that appears on the far right edge of the screen. I have found that images with smaller file size seem to be ok. Is there any way to fix this issue? Thanks.

Have you tried a different site to get your Animated Wall Paper files from? Are the ones that are showing the white line from your Carriers web site?" I've seen some that are kind of messed one some of the generic Picture sites. Does this happen with multiple Animated Wall Paper files?

I'm sorry I should have been more specific in my first post, no these are not from my carriers website they are from a .com website that sends wallpapers to your phone via text/picture message and is currently the only one I have found that supports US Cellular. As of this time I do not have a USB cable to download to my PC then upload to phone. However, I have uploaded a couple of different ones off the same site and found that .gif/48KB/176x220-works fine**.gif/95KB/176x220-has vertical line**.gif/480KB/176x220-has vertical line. My phone has 36018KB of free space and I tried both fit to height and fit to width options. I have pictures and could e-mail them to you if you wish. I checked FAQS for the website in question and have spent several hours searching the internet, forums, blogs, etc. I have found nothing even similar. One would think that if this is a file or website issue then I would'nt be the only one out there with this problem, that being said, I am going to contact the website. I will let you know what I find out. Thank-you for your help.

I submitted my help request to that .com website, while there I decided to do a little more searching, I came across an artist's link that took me to their site, with archives of their content, but was still connected to the .com site for sending content to phone. Cool enough, but even cooler, was the "Customize Image" tab I found. Here you could set your custom size by either your phone brand and model or you could type in your own HxW to custom size. I first checked the phone brand and model, my phone was not listed, hmmm..curious, I thought. I then moved on to the HxW, set it at 240x240, after having spent the last two+ days searching the net about my problem, I remembered reading something that said this was a good number to resize to because it makes the file smaller and your phone automatically adjusts it back to 176x220. From there I finished up with the crop tool, I took a wild guess and ended up cropping the entire image. Sent it to my phone, and lo' and behold, it worked!! The file size was only 40KB smaller than the original sent to my phone, but I suppose after resizing to a different resolution, then reverting it back, it don't take much. To be honest, I don't know what I did exactly, maybe you could explain it to me..lol. I do know this though, the website must have tried to match my phone up with the closest thing they had, and that has been the problem!! Don't know if I should say, "Thanks for your help." or "Thanks for listening."???..LOL...

Just went in and checked my phone preferences and they had me using LG UX310 Helix, but shows a picture of a cricket, is this the same thing? same specs? In any case, I don't think it matters, looks like I can override default settings and set my own format, size, and transformation..I'll just have to figure out what those are..Oh well..
