my lg banter screen went blank for no reason. canot see txts incoming or typing, no incoming numbers, no disply, just a blue screen. is 3 months old ...now what do i do?

The First thing I would try would be to reset the phone and you do that by pulling the battery out WITH the power on. Let the battery sit out for about a minute and then replace it and power up. If this doesn't resolve the issue and your dealer doesn't help, you can call LG Support at (800) 793-8896

I have the same problem. Remember the LG Rumer? It was pretty much the same thing as the LG Banter is now.

They recalled the model because of this same problem. It's not your battery. It's a little wire that bends over time and then "pinches off" or "breaks". That's what the people at my US Cellular store told me.

I'm under a plan where I can get a new phone after 18 months and get a discount. The time when mine did that, it hasn't been 18 months yet. I need to wait for another month (April 13th) where I can finally get a new one.

They told me that if I wanted to send it in to get it fixed, it would cost $160, which is more than what I payed for my phone. That's kinda bullspitty. But yeah. I can't see texts or who's calling me. I can call people if I know what their number is and for awhile I was able to text to certain people without seeing the screen. But now it's been so long since I've texted last that I don't remember how to do it anymore.

But yeah. You're not alone on this one. They really should recall this model too.
