Went to the sprint store to get a new lotus as my screens went out after having it for only 7 months. Sprint was very helpful, only the refurbished replacement phone I recieved has scratches on the front! The one I turned in looked brand new. I was told that my year warranty doesnt start over with this refurbished phone so if it malfunctions when my year is up I am responsible for repairs. According to the "Pro's" on this site this is not a common problem with the lotus therefore LG doesnt have to own up to it, but that is not what I was told by the techs at sprint. They think this is a pretty common problem with the Lotus and I dont think Sprint should carry this phone anymore. |

The point is LG should not be "honoring" their warranty by replacing defective phones with refurbished phones. I want a new phone and I want the warranty extended to one year on the New phone! I was told by sprint that even though I rec'd a refurb that it was still under my original warranty, which only has about 5 months remaining. How can you do that esp since it is a refurbished unit with obvious wear! UNBELIEVEABLE! |

I too have experienced the same problem mine is only 3 months old. Its upsetting that i pd for a new phone and received a refurbished phone in place of it especially when its not my fault. Lg needs to fix these lotus phones too many people having same problems with them. Maybe they need a classaction suit on this. |
