Opera mini came with a new version on the market. "Opera mini 5". I would encourage everyone to download it on the LG elite and you can even customize the home page with big icons where www.lgmobile.com for example would look good.
Also www.getjar.com is a very known website for applications. The LG elite has over 4000 applications just by going to that website.
Example: There are apps for everything. Business, social, food, sports, productivity. If you download "Zagat" application from "Food", it will show you thousands of restaurants reviews! So when you look around for a restaurant, you can find also its reviews so you would not have any unpleasant surprises.

Install Opera Mini Browser Full HTML Browser
Using the device browser, go to: m.opera.com
Click on the Download Opera Mini! link
Click on Proceed
Follow the instructions to complete installation
(When it asks for Network Access, select Always Allow, unless you prefer otherwise)

That is about the only major app it supports. Love the phone but about the availability of major apps.

I agree, I hope that the 3rd party App developers choose to support Lotus Elite more aggressively.

Thank you for the info.  I downloaded Opera Mini, but I got an error message when trying to download version 5.  I had to dowload 4.2 instead.  Also, when I went to getjar.com and tried to download one of the apps, I was not able to download it.  What could I be doing wrong?

I would like to know what apps you like on getjar.com.  There are so many to look through and many keep repeating on different pages.
