ok so i just got my new rumor touch and i am operating windows xp and i can't get it to work as a modem it says i need to set up a dial up connection or something... and someone said i need to find device drivers for it.... so any help would be greatly appreciated |

Are you using the Rumor Touch with Sprint or Virgin Mobile? You can find the drivers here: http://www.lgcommunity.com/file_library.aspx ... Look in the "Drivers" Folder If you are using the Touch with Sprint, I don't think you will be able to get it to work... Sprint Blocks "Tethering" unless you have a SmartPhone... I would check with your carrier to be sure. Good Luck. |

The "Product Pro" is correct. You can not use this device as a modem. You would need to use a "Smart Phone" to tether to a computer for internet (at a price of $29.99 a month). If you are on an "Everything Unlimited" plan i recommend just getting an aircard or mifi and add that for a discounted $50 a month. Hope this helps. |

It really all depends on the carrier and if they offer that service but most phones are capable of doing this feature. Sprint no longer offers that to promote their aircards |
