I am trying to use the Sprint Mobile E-mail application to connect to an IMAP server using SSL. The server has a valid and verified GoDaddy certificate. However, when I connect I get the error:
S7128 The certificate is valid but cannot be verified. Accept the certificate and continue?
When I click "OK" (the only button available) it sends be back to the beginning of the connection setup process and does not allow me to activate the account.
I found a user than ran into a similar issue on the Samsung Instinct, but it went away when the program received an update. He has version 6.9.3.377 now. I tried getting an update but none was available for the Lotus. I am using version 6.8.7.224 right now.

Does anyone know if a similar update for the Lotus is being planned?
If not, the email program is severly hindered except for those users that want to pay a fortune for a verisgn certificate. Sprint didn't seem to have a clue about the root cause of the issue and wasn't even really willing to accept that there was an issue.
