Does anyone no how to clear the recent contacts list from text messaging on a rumor? I have gone through all the set-up settings etc. and have been unsuccessfull.

I have not found and option similar to being able to delete call logs. The only option I have been able to findis the optionto be able to delete the messages themselves but not the recent contacts sent the emails.

What is the auto-delete setting for texting? I have it set to on but it doesn't appear to stop messages or the recent contacts from being stored ?

Any way to turn off recent messages mode? this is cumbersome and a nuisance, if i want to resend/forward i prefer to do so from my sent folder.

This was one of the biggest issues I had with the Rumor phone when I got it. The only way I have found to get rid of the recent contacts is to go to messages and select any of the other messages besides a text message.After you select a message type,go to contacts,select recent and delete them from there. After that hit end and select no when asked if you want to save the message.

Another thing this phone does as well is that it saves your recent text messages. Select text message for any of your contacts, go to mode and select recent messages. It will have listed your most recent text messages sent, you can delete them from there.

This works if you don't have internet or pic mail.

Go to Messaging,

Choose send message

Choose VoiceSMS

Arrow down to recent list, click ok

choose options, delete all
