brand new LOTUS, problems viewing pics on phone saved onto SD card

The interesting thing is, when I have it linked up to the computer and I locate the folder, the pics show up perfectly. But when I go into pics, and then choose card, it shows 0. I don't know if it has something to do w/ them being the Pro Wedding pics I had taken or not. I would hate to have to take this back and have it replaced as I already have it personalized. I love this phone otherwise!! Please someone help~!
