My boyfriend's rumor freezes on him when he goes on the internet. This is his second phone in 2 months. The first phone turned off for no reason, and by the 2nd month it stopped turning back on. We bought our phones in MAY, it's rediculous!!!!! Sprint will not replace the phone unless we pay $50.00. LG told us to send the phone in, wait 2 weeks to see if they will even replace it. They said if there's damage to the phone the warrenty is out. Well it has scratches duh nothing stay perfect. To top off our bad luck both chargers broke!!!! My boyfriends just stopped working, and the prongs on mine snapped off!!!! Sprint told use to buy new ones...... Anybody else have the same problems, or just as annoyed as I am!!!!!

I am annoyed by the lack of support for this phone. Nothing seems to work with it. the cable i have, doesnt work and no software out there has the ability to do anything with it.

Unfortunately, Sprint is known to have the worst customer service on the planet. I'd rather deal with the IRS. Minor damage like scratches and stuff won't void your warranty, just physical damage like cracked screens and stuff. I would see if LG will send you a new phone to use in the mean time while you wait to see what they say.

Furthermore, to snap the prongs of a charger, you would have to have done SOMETHING out of the ordinary to it. Yanking it by the cord or something.

That is why it is always a good idea to get the extra insurance for $5 a month.

Same phones, same problems. Sprint will do nothing for us either. We have the $5 insurance. They won't touch or replace the phone. LG wants me to send in the phone also, and pay to have it fixed, not to mention the customer service lady was rude. This phone is only 4.5 months old, and it has been repaired twice already. The charger broke in my luggage, same thing prongs broke, no pulling or jerking of cords. Horriblr phone, Horrible service. No one will stand behind their products anymore. As an owner of a company these are the issues that I fix immediatly to keep my customers!

i just got the Rumor from my friend who went ahead and upgraded and i went to turn it on and its broken in the days between her switching it off and me trying to turn it on. The screen says service required, and sprint told me that they dont know whats wrong with it, it just wont work. UGH!!!!!!!!

I have just received word that LG Repair will repair any 260 (Rumor) that is determined to have a charger port issue and the phone is still within warranty. Please call LG Customer Service to receive a Return Authorization number. Thanks!
